Custom Printed Vinyl or Photo Tex Door Wraps
Personal • Commercial • Schools •Indoor/Outdoor • Temporary or Permanent
A door wrap can transform a simple door into the talking point of your home, kitchen, man cave, office, bathroom, etc. It’s an easy way to rejuvenate a door into looking better than new, or simply adding some style to that boring surface! The beauty of vinyl wrapping your door in this day and age is that you have amazing choices of materials depending on what you want to do with it. Want a print that is long-lasting and ultra-durable? Choose our 3M Long-Term Vinyl. Like to swap the look of your door around a lot, or need it to be temporary? Photo Tex Fabric is for you.
“How Do I Know It Will Fit My Door?”
That’s the beauty of what we call “On-Demand” Printing - we don’t even start printing your product until after you’ve provided measurements of your specific door and placed your order. At RM wraps, there’s no chance of accidentally getting someone else’s returned open-box graphic, or a less-popular print that has sat on the shelf for months and had the adhesive go bad. The only materials we stock are 100% blank and brand new, printed and trimmed to the size you give us.
“What Tools Do I Need to Buy to Install Your Door Wraps?”
None! We try to keep things as simple as possible - that includes using quality materials that make installation a breeze with nothing more than simple tools. Every wrap order shipped from RM wraps comes with an application squeegee and trimming knife in the box with your wrap. All that’s left is to watch one of our how-to videos below, and tackle that project!
Materials We Use For Door Wraps
3M™ Long-Term Vinyl
Made from the same high-grade materials as car wraps - backed by the 3M brand.
Strong, pressure-sensitive adhesive intended for long-term/”permanent” installation. 3M vinyl films advertised as “permanent” are still removable, it just takes a lot of elbow grease and the film will leave an adhesive residue behind. For removing this residue, RM wraps recommends a glue-removal product such as Goo Gone.
Air-Egress Technology baked right into the vinyl. No need for wet installation or pulling a print back off the surface to chase out air bubbles - simply massage around the bubble with your thumb, and watch as it magically disappears.
Opaque vinyl and adhesive layers. With some cheaper vinyl films on the market, you have to worry about background surface color bleeding through - dirtying and dulling bright colors, and/or washing out darks. With 3M opaque materials, any color graphic can go on any color surface without the print changing apparent colors.
Laminated with 3M UV-Resistant Protective Film. Lamination is just as important as the vinyl film itself - that’s why we stick with a 3M lamination that guards your graphic from moisture, abrasion, and UV for several years. When needed, our long-term vinyl prints can safely be cleaned with any household or commercial cleaning agents.

Removable Photo Tex™ Fabric
100% Polyester self-adhesive Fabric
Peel-and-Stick, Removable Adhesive. Photo Tex is a revolutionary, industry-leading 100% polyester fabric material that looks and feels like wallpaper, peels and sticks like wrap vinyl, and peels off like a sticky note.
Infinitely Re-usable. As long as the adhesive side of the vinyl stays clean and dust/dirt/lint free, and you clean the wrapped surface prior to install, Photo Tex material prints can be installed over and over again without loss of “Stikability”
Opaque vinyl and adhesive layers. Photo Tex comes in a couple different styles - we stock and regularly print on their “OPA” variant, which stands for Opaque. We’ve found this version has the perfect amount of rigidity and “Stikability” for door and wall wraps, with the added bonus of being block-out just like our long-term vinyl prints. No need to worry if a dark-colored door will show through a white door wrap!
Eco-Friendly and Safety-Conscious. Photo Tex materials meet ASTM E84 Class A or 1 Fire Rating, and are lead & phthalates free.

Frequently Asked Questions About Door Wraps
-
Absolutely! We include the tools needed to install one of our door wraps, and have how-to videos here on our website and on our Youtube channel that you can follow along with. Very few of our customers tell us that they plan to hire someone else to install their wrap.
-
Door wraps are a covering or “skin” applied over the top surface of your door - crafted from sturdy, long-lasting vinyl or fabric materials, these wraps quickly adhere to the entire surface for an instant transformation. Through texture and color changes it's like giving your "tired old door" its very own facelift.
-
Yes! We require measurements of the door you’ll be wrapping with one of our prints - we open the design file you ordered from our server and manually adjust the design to fit the measurements you provide, then save the new custom-sized image under your name/order number for production.
For any customizing done to the graphics themselves, we will send you a proof of your requested customizations via email/text and wait for your approval before going to print.
-
You can leave notes for your customization requests in the Notes section when you order. Or you can contact us via email: info@rmwraps.com and request to see a proof before you order.

Door wraps offer a quick and easy way to visually change a door to look like almost anything - you don’t have to be a graphic designer or a mural artist, you just have to have a bit of free time and follow a how-to video.
Door wraps offer a heightened level of durability and protection not offered by other finishes, like paint. While it won’t protect against major damage, a door wrap can add protection against accidental abrasion, small impacts, etc.
If a door wrap should become damaged, it’s much easier to remove and replace than a traditional surface covering, like paint. There’s no sanding, taping-off, priming, or dry-time involved.
Our PhotoTex fabric option also gives you the option of having your door covering be temporary - perfect for seasonal decoration or apartment renters.
-
Interior door wraps can last basically forever, as long as they are not exposed to major temperature swings or long stints of UV exposure (sunlight through glass).
Exterior door wraps generally will last 2-5 years, depending on the climate they are installed in and what cardinal direction they face (Westward facing surfaces get the most afternoon sun, and experience the hottest temperatures).
