Custom Printed Vinyl Wall Wraps
Commercial • Personal • Decor • Advertising • Indoor • Temporary or Permanent
A wall wrap can totally transform a boring wall into the talking point of your home or office. It’s an easy way to decorate an accent wall with more than just a different shade or paint. With modern printing technology, the sky’s the limit in terms of the look you can achieve.
The beauty of vinyl wrapping in this day and age is that you have amazing choices of materials depending on what you want to do with it. Want a print that is long-lasting and ultra-durable? Choose our 3M Long-Term Vinyl. Need your wall wrap to be temporary (seasonal)? Photo Tex Fabric is for you.
Materials We Use For Wall Wraps
3M™ Long-Term Vinyl
Made from the same high-grade materials you see on box & semi trucks - backed by the 3M brand.
(Approximately $5/sq ft.)
Strong, pressure-sensitive adhesive intended for long-term/”permanent” installation. With proper surface preperation, wraps using this material can last many years. Damage to underlying paint/drywall-skin layers can occur when removing these permanent wraps and will have to be repaired.
Air-Egress Technology baked right into the vinyl. No need for wet installation or pulling a print back off the surface to chase out air bubbles - simply massage around the bubble with your thumb, and watch as it magically disappears.
Opaque vinyl and adhesive layers. With some cheaper vinyl films on the market, you have to worry about background surface color bleeding through - dirtying and dulling bright colors, and/or washing out darks. With 3M opaque materials, any color graphic can go on any color surface without the print changing apparent colors.
Laminated with a UV-Resistant Protective Film. Lamination is just as important as the vinyl film itself - that’s why we stick with an industry-leading lamination that guards your graphic from moisture, abrasion, and UV for several years. When needed, our long-term vinyl prints can safely be cleaned with any household or commercial cleaning agents.

Due to the nature of permanent vinyls and the difficulty added by working with large rolled pieces, we recommend hiring a professional installer from your local area for permanent wall wraps.
Removable PhotoTex™ Fabric
100% Polyester self-adhesive Fabric
(Approximately $4.25/sq ft)
Peel-and-Stick, Removable Adhesive. Photo Tex is a revolutionary, industry-leading 100% polyester fabric material that looks and feels like wallpaper, peels and sticks like wrap vinyl, and peels off like a sticky note.
Infinitely Re-usable. As long as the adhesive side of the vinyl stays clean and dust/dirt/lint free, and you clean the wrapped surface prior to install, Photo Tex material prints can be installed over and over again without loss of “Stikability”
Opaque vinyl and adhesive layers. Photo Tex comes in a couple different styles - we stock and regularly print on their “OPA” variant, which stands for Opaque. We’ve found this version has the perfect amount of rigidity and “Stikability” for door and wall wraps, with the added bonus of being block-out just like our long-term vinyl prints. No need to worry if a dark-colored door will show through a white door wrap!
Eco-Friendly and Safety-Conscious. Photo Tex materials meet ASTM E84 Class A or 1 Fire Rating, and are lead & phthalates free.

Wall Wrap F.A.Q.’s
-
Our PhotoTex Fabric material is our intended material for anyone installing a wall wrap in a personal home, or anyone without vinyl installation experience. This material is more rigid, making it much harder to damage/crease and has a very user-friendly adhesive that allows you to reposition the graphics over and over again.
Our permanent vinyl, on the other hand, is less rigid with a more aggressive adhesive, making it easier to damage either the vinyl or the underlying wall if installed improperly. It is generally not recommended for DIY installers. In that case, we recommend finding a vinyl installation professional in your local area.
Both of our materials are designed for smooth-to-lightly-textured walls. Medium and heavily-textured walls are possible to wrap, with a higher-grade conforming vinyl. For more information on that material, please contact us.

That’s the beauty of what we call “On-Demand” Printing - we don’t even start printing your product until after you’ve provided measurements of your wall, we’ve proofed the graphic to you, and you’ve placed your order. At RM wraps, there’s no chance of accidentally getting someone else’s returned open-box graphic, or a less-popular print that has sat on the shelf for months and had the adhesive go bad. The only materials we stock are 100% blank and brand new, printed and trimmed to the size you give us.
-
None! We try to keep things as simple as possible - that includes using quality materials that make installation possible with simple tools. Every wrap order shipped from RM wraps comes with an application squeegee and trimming knife in the box with your wrap.
For ease of mind, if tackling a DIY project with our permanent vinyl (not recommended), you may want to have a heat gun on hand to chase out hard-to-see bubbles at the end of installation, and/or to repair any stretching of the vinyl that may occur.

You can design your own wall wrap, or we can design something for you. If we are designing it, we ask for some starting ideas of what you’re looking for, dimensions of your wall(s), and any elements you want included by sent to us (your company logo, fonts, colors, for example).
If designing your own, we need artwork sized/scaled to fit your wall. Files at smaller scale than production are fine - artwork DPI/PPI just needs to be adjusted so that they are 180 or higher when we scale the artwork up to 100%. For example, if designing at 50% scale, all elements should be at least 360 DPI/PPI. Design scale should be noted in file names. Artwork should be in the RGB color space (make sure to proof them in a printable color space, to check for any significant color deviations - neon/pastel colors shift the most during production). Artwork can be shared to us using any file hosting service (DropBox, Google Drive, etc.) to info@rmwraps.com.
