Wall Wrap in an MRI Suite
RM wraps was hired to remove and replace a wall wrap inside an active MRI Suite at a medical facility in Weiser, Idaho in August of 2023.
The entire “mobile” suite was designed, built, and prepped for this medical facility in Sweden, and shipped all the way to Weiser - but when it showed up, it had the wrong wall mural that the customers didn’t want. So, we were hired to remove the wrong one, and install the new one. The new graphics were printed on 3M IJ180c air release vinyl and shipped to the facility - a bit overkill for flat wall graphics, but it came out looking great.
Unfortunately we couldn’t grab too many pictures - the MRI was on and active while we were in the room, so we couldn’t take our phones into the room and had to be careful with our steel knives while we were trimming (we could feel the magnetic field from a foot or two away!)
The wall was approximately 8’ x 18’, split into 5 panels. Overall this took the two of us 3 hours, start to finish.
